About
Club Juventude Lusitana is a Portuguese cultural organization founded on October 8th, 1921 in Cumberland, Rhode Island. Located at 10 Chase Street, the club was established to provide a space for the local Luso-American community to engage with their language and culture. The organization operates multiple divisions including Lusitana Sports, Portuguese School, Lusitana Band, and Rancho Folclórico dance group. Their mission is to maintain and promote Portuguese culture, language, traditions and customs while creating a multi-generational space that honors traditions as they continue to evolve.
