Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of ClubScout, operated by PTWO LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using ClubScout, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, submitting content, or otherwise using ClubScout, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and PTWO LLC.

Eligibility and Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account on ClubScout.
• Each person may maintain only one account. Email verification is required before you can submit reviews.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Your display name must not impersonate another person or organization.
• You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and to keep it up to date.

User-Generated Content: Reviews

ClubScout allows verified users to submit reviews of youth soccer clubs. By submitting a review, you agree to the following:

Review Requirements

• Reviews must be between 50 and 2,000 characters in length.
• You must provide ratings across all six categories (overall, coaching quality, communication, value for money, player development, and club culture) honestly and based on genuine experience.
• You may submit one review per club.
• You may edit or delete your own reviews at any time from your account page or the club’s detail page.

Prohibited Content

Reviews must not contain:

• Spam, advertising, or commercial promotion
• Hate speech, threats, or personal attacks
• Knowingly false or misleading claims about a club or its staff
• Personal information about minors (children’s names, photos, or identifying details)
• Content that violates any applicable law

Moderation

Users may flag reviews they believe violate these guidelines. Reviews that receive multiple flags may be automatically hidden pending review. ClubScout reserves the right to remove any review that violates these Terms, at our sole discretion. We may also remove reviews that are clearly fraudulent or intended to manipulate club ratings.

Club Claiming

Club directors and authorized representatives may claim their club’s listing on ClubScout. By claiming a club, you represent that:

• You are authorized to act on behalf of the club or organization.
• The information you provide about the club is accurate and up to date.
• You will maintain the accuracy of the listing while it is claimed.

Claims may be verified automatically through email domain matching or manually reviewed by ClubScout administrators. We reserve the right to revoke a claim if it was made fraudulently or if the claimed listing contains inaccurate information that is not corrected.

Content License

You retain ownership of the reviews and other content you submit to ClubScout. By posting content, you grant PTWO LLC a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, reproduce, and distribute your content on the ClubScout platform and in connection with the operation of the service.

If you delete your account, your reviews may be anonymized (with your display name removed) rather than deleted entirely, in order to preserve the integrity of aggregate club ratings.

Club Data Accuracy Disclaimer

ClubScout aggregates club information from a variety of sources, including public records, club websites, league databases, and third-party data providers. Much of this information is collected through automated processes.

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or currency of any club information displayed on ClubScout. Clubs that have claimed and verified their listings may have more accurate and up-to-date information, but even claimed listings are the responsibility of the club administrators who manage them.

We strongly encourage users to confirm all information — including fees, tryout dates, program details, and contact information — directly with the club before making any decisions.

Intellectual Property

The ClubScout name, logo, website design, and all original content (excluding user-generated reviews) are the property of PTWO LLC. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our intellectual property without prior written permission.

Limitation of Liability

ClubScout is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

PTWO LLC shall not be liable for:

• Any decisions you make based on club information, reviews, or ratings displayed on ClubScout
• The accuracy or reliability of user-generated content, including reviews
• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service
• Any interruption, suspension, or termination of the service

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claims arising from your use of ClubScout shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us (if any) in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in behavior that is harmful to other users, clubs, or the ClubScout platform.

You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, your personal information will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, and your reviews may be anonymized.

Modifications

We may modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of ClubScout after any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

For material changes that significantly affect your rights, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you (for example, via email or a prominent notice on the site).

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Massachusetts.
